I have a 76 year old mother in law that lives alone. I decided that maybe having a pet would give her some companionship she is missing. We initially went to the office about a month ago and she fell in love with 8 yr. old Granny, however, she was on medical hold. We received the call that Granny had been released and was waiting for us so we went over yesterday to complete the adoption. Upon arriving, my mother in law spied 12 yr old Pacho in the pen in the office looking scared and confused. You guessed it ......Pacho came home with us too.
We are extremely happy with both of our senior dogs and they are adjusting quite nicely. Not only do they have a "furever" home to live out their days in, but my mother in law has a renewed purpose in life and gets the exercise she was missing by walking her new companions.
Thank you Citrus County Animal Services for helping me ......help my mother in law.
